After a fabulous month cruising around the outback with a swag and a tent the Elephant Rockers are back on deck and raring to go! Launching ourselves into a busy season this weekend (4th and 5th August) at Winton Motor Raceway for Winton Festival of Speed.
Two great events to kick off with when we get back from our Outback adventures!
First up Winton Festival of Speed an amazing and fascinating event well worth it especially if you’re interested in vintage race cars! Andrew will be competing in the Formula V and India will be cooking up a storm! August 4th and 5th.
The following weekend we head to “Shepp” for the Shepparton Food and Wine Expo. Looking forward to this one. There has been a ton of interest so we are anticipating a good turnout. Come and see us for thoughtfully sourced Australian Calamari and local and regional Seafood. It’s delicious!! August 11th and 12th.
A while ago we imported from the USA these two sensational restored Airstreams. One is a 1948 Wee Wind and is in fact the exact van our Elephant Rock food van was inspired by. The other is a restored 1956 Bubble. They are both empty shells ready for fitout. We are seeking EOIs from anyone interested in taking them to the next stage. On the Queens Birthday weekend 2018 this fabulous family friendly Rotary fundraiser is celebrating it’s 55th year and we will be there to help!
After a short R&R break Elephant Rock will be back and heading to Echuca with our delicious new Calamari and Seafood menu.
The Steam Rally is great fun for all ages and has a host of displays, activities including the famous miniature rail, market stalls and food vendors from calamari to scones with jam and cream!

A rotation of more than 25 of Melbourne’s best food trucks with fireworks on the Friday night at 9:30pm, carnival rides, a fully licensed bar and live music & DJ’s! This is one carnival not to be missed. Find out more.
A beautiful location, a talented DJ, great music, market stalls, activities for all ages and a sensational range of food trucks and food sellers … this is a great way to finish a fabulous foodie weekend! A really enjoyable family day and the dogs can come too (on leads please). And as well as being a great day out this fabulous fun day Sunday event is also a fund raiser for cancer organised by Making Strides.
We are proud to be a regular participant in this event. And this time it is even more exciting with the scouts from MKR turning up looking for new talent!! Wow!

Unfortunately for all Cinema Pop Up Ararat was cancelled due to the wild, weird and wet weather! The guys are off to Hamilton next and we are are heading to the Food Truck Carnival Benalla – Friday 8th to Sunday 10th December. Looks like the weather might be kind to us so fingers crossed 🤞 for a fabulous weekend with good things to eat and drink, live entertainment and plenty of fun for all!!
