That was fun! Can’t wait for the next one!

Traralgon Food Truck Carnival – it’s a wrap!

We had an amazing time at Traralgon and despite some chilly weather to begin with and so did the people who came along. Saturday Race Day was a real event! The race goers dressed to the nines, graced the marquees and oviously enjoyed everything on offer – races by day and great food and music into the night. Sunday was sunny and pleasant and families flocked in to sample the food truck offerings, enjoy the carnival and the music and catch up with friends.

Our Elephant Rock Calamari van will be at the Albury Food Truck Carnival from Boxing Day to New Years Eve. Great location, great event, heaps of great food trucks – come along!

If you’re near Heathcote on the evening of Friday 20th October you’ll see us in the Main Street serving up “the best takeaway food ever”! Emelia’s delicious crafted Aioli and Tartare (made locally in Kyneton) certainly do their bit and compliment the panko crumbed Calamari delightfully.

Gorgeous day at Lancefield!

The weather was perfect and the crowds came out. A beautiful day in a beautiful location. A fabulous family event with a friendly, happy vibe. Thanks Nicky for inviting us! So glad we could be there!

We were a bit busy to see the terrier racing, dog high jump, wood chopping, chook judging, baby animals, horse competitions or to explore the array of food and wine offerings. It was a busy, busy day for Elephant Rock Street Foods.

We loved the little kids who proudly popped our stickers on their chests and wore them all day. They also bravely tried our handcrafted drinks and happily came back for more. Our favorite quote of the day came from a member of another Agricultural Show Committee “This is the best takeaway food I’ve ever had!”

Ready to go for the Lancefield Show …

The weather looks good and all is in place for a fabulous Show Day at Lancefield. Tons to do for all the family and of course plenty of yummy food and delicious wine tasting! Check it out HERE and see you THERE!

Toowoomba was fabulous can’t wait for the next Lost Trades Fair in Kyneton!

The first ever Lost Trades Fair Toowoomba was a great success. Despite some problematic weather to begin with crowds flocked in and exhibitors were kept super busy throughout – as were we!

The next Lost Trades Fair is in Kyneton, Victoria, 2018 on the March long weekend and then back to Toowoomba, Queensland, in October 2018. Started to showcase traditional, rare and unusual arts and trades and actively promote the artisans who practise these skills the Lost Trades Fairs are fascinating and not to be missed. Find out more.

See us next at the Lancefield Show in Victoria Sunday 15th October! Find us there.
