Tradition, craftsmanship, skill. Lost arts, rare trades and heritage crafts. Meet the makers; see how things are made by hand. Blacksmiths, toolmakers, silversmiths, clockmakers, weavers, woodworkers, instrument makers, signwriters, potters, leather workers, tailors – makers of penny farthings, rocking horses, bellows, whips, saddles and boots will join many more traditional artisans from across Australian for the largest traditional trades event in Australia.

We are finishing up a nice, relaxing January with a couple of great local markets. Castlemaine Artists Market at the Western Reserve on Sunday 23rd and the Rotary Australia Day Market at the Bendigo Racecourse on Wednesday 26th. Look forward to seeing you at one or at both Elephant Rockers!

Just about an hour out of Melbourne this beautiful winery has sensational views, park like grounds and a carefully curated sculpture exhibition. At Hanging Rock Winery you can enjoy a guided tasting of their award winning wines or a glass of wine in the gardens. We will be there from Wednesday 29th December into early January serving our delicious calamari and fish meals. Bring the family there is plenty of lovely lawns and fresh outdoor space with glorious views!

This is a “Low-Carb Spudfest” designed to safely celebrate our sensational spuds & our fabulous farmers with a chance to gather & enjoy some food, fun and community.

This year it’s at the Historic Railway Station on Victoria St. Tickets $5 for adults, children and locals free.
